The John P. Boucher Soccer Pitch, home to Husson soccer programs, was built in 2001 through a generous donation by Husson alumnus John P. Boucher ’66. The soccer field is at the heart of the campus located within the “circle” in the shadows of the Bell Tower.
This 116yd x 72yd soccer field was one of the finest natural grass stadiums in New England.
Granite and iron fences surround the field and bench enclosures to give the complex that “old world” feel which makes it a very special place to play.
Currently (2007) the field is under going a face lift. Once again with Mr. Boucher’s generous support, the field will lose its natural grass and be converted to Field Turf. The $650,000 renovation will make the John Boucher Soccer Field one of the finest collegiate complexes in New England.
